Abstract:
V diplomski nalogi smo predstavili celoten postopek prehoda kinematografa Kolosej iz 35 mm analogne tehnologije na digitalno. Izdelan je zgodovinski pregled razvoja kinodvoran iz analogne tehnologije v digitalno. Prehod Koloseja na digitalno tehniko se je začel z analizo stanja digitalizacije kinematografov po svetu in Sloveniji. Večina kinematografov v Evropi in ZDA je že uspešno opravila popolno digitalizacijo sistema. Glede na zbrane ponudbe digitalne kinematografske opreme, smo izbrali najbolj ugodnega. Sledilo je načrtovanje in izvedba digitalizacije vseh dvoran v Koloseju. V diplomskem delu je opisan postopek namestitve in preizkusa vseh digitalnih komponent. Predstavljene so uporabljene digitalne komponente in njihove specifikacije. Poseben poudarek je na povezovanju vseh komponent na glavni strežnik, preko katerega se upravlja vse projektorje in zvok. Z uspešno digitalizacijo, je podjetje Kolosej v celoti vstopilo v digitalno kinematografsko dobo.

DIGITALIZATION OF CINEMA AUDITORIUMS KOLOSEJ
Abstract:
In this diploma thesis, we presented the whole transition process of Kolosej cinema, from 35 mm analog to digital technology. First we made historical overview of the cinema development and analog to digital technology. The upgrade of Kolosej analog projection technology to digital, began with the analysis of cinemas digitization in Slovenia and the world. Most cinemas in Europe and US already passed the full digitization of projection systems. We chose the most economical firm that sells digital cinematography systems. Then followed planning and implementation of digitalization for all cinematograph halls in Kolosej. The thesis also describes how the installation and the tests of all digital components were performed. We also presented all installed digital components and their specifications. Special emphasis is on connection of all components to the main server, through which we manage all the projection and sound equipment. With the successful digitization of all projection halls, Kolosej successfully entered the digital cinema era.
