Abstract:V diplomskem delu z naslovom Dodatne gibalne/športne aktivnosti v vrtcu smo želeli s pomočjo pedagoškega eksperimenta ugotoviti, kako dodatne gibalne/športne aktivnosti vplivajo na gibalni razvoj otrok v 1. in 2. starostnem obdobju.

Title:ADDITIONAL SPORTS/MOTOR ACTIVITIES IN KINDERGARTEN
Abstract:In the diploma paper entitled Additional motor/sports activities in kindergarten we used a pedagogical experiment, in order to find out how additional motor/sports activities affect child motor development in the first and the second age group. The diploma paper consists of the theoretical and the empirical part. In the theoretical part we presented child motor development and factors that affect it. We also represented the possibility of executing additional motor/sports activities in kindergarten in detail. In the empirical part we presented the results of the pedagogical experiment. The research was carried out with a non-probability sample of a specific population of 55 children from the first and the second age group. The information was collected with the use of quantitative technique. Six tests for the first age group and eleven for the second one were used in order to test the motor skills of children in this pedagogical experiment. In the time of the experiment the experimental group was attending additional motor/sports activities, while the control group only took part in those motor activities that are defined by the annual work plan. With the use of descriptive statistics and bivariante analysis of results of motoric tests we determined that in our sample of children more visible progress in the motor development is seen by the children who attend additional motor/sports activities in comparison with children who do not.
