Title:IZBOLJŠANJE PROCESA MERJENJA RAZTRŽNE SILE NA STATORSKEM PAKETU S POMOČJO METODOLOGIJE 6 SIGMA

Abstract:V diplomskem delu je predstavljeno izboljševanje procesa merjenja raztržne sile statorskih paketov. Spremljali smo delo v oddelku kakovosti poslovne enote komponente, kjer se soočamo s stroškovno in časovno neučinkovitim procesom merjenja, kar ima za posledico velike stroške in nezadovoljstvo vseh vpletenih v obravnavani proces. Na podlagi opisa obstoječega stanja in kritične analize so predstavljeni predlogi za izboljšanje posameznega segmenta procesa merjenja raztržne sile statorskih paketov, s katerimi smo dosegli zastavljeni cilj – »biti korak pred konkurenco«. Prenova procesa temelji na sistematičnem postopku DMAIC (Definiraj, Izmeri, Analiziraj, Izboljšaj, Preveri), ki je del metodološkega pristopa 6-Sigma. Namen analize je bilo poiskati ustrezne rešitve, s katerimi smo poenostavili in skrajšali proces merjenja raztržne sile statorskih paketov. Glavni gonilniki, na katere smo se osredinili, so zmanjšanje izmeta, skrajšanje časa postopka merjenja in prihranek na materialu, ki vstopa v proces merjenja. Rezultati, do katerih smo prišli po postopku DMAIC, so zadovoljivi. Realizirani so vsi poglavitni cilji: medtem ko smo zmanjšali izmet statorskih paketov za več kot 40 odstotkov in skrajšali čas tekočih kontrolorjev za več kot 20 odstotkov, smo porabo lepila zmanjšali za več kot 50 odstotkov.

Title:IMPROVEMENT OF MEASUREMENT PROCESS OF PUSH OUT FORCES ON STATOR STACK WITH 6 SIGMA METODOLOGY
Abstract:The purpose of this diploma thesis is to present the process improvement of push-out forces measurement on stator stack. The analysis of the studied process was carried out in the quality department of the components business unit, where we are facing with increased tangible as well as intangible costs. Based on the description of the current situation and performed critical analysis, the improvement proposals for each stage of the push-out forces measurement process were suggested. Herewith, the improvement was based on the premise that improvement activities can accomplish our main goal that is “being a step ahead of the competitors”. The empirical part of the thesis is based on systematic approach of DMAIC methodology (Define, Measure, Analyse, Improve, Control), which is part of the 6-Sigma approach. The purpose of the analysis was to find out particular solutions that in terms of process simplification as well as to decrease measuring time of push-out force test on the stator stack. The focal point in this thesis was placed on the following main drivers: decreasing scrap, decreasing measuring time and to save income material which is the main part of the process we are dealing with. Drawing upon the results of the DMAIC methodology, one can conclude that the main objectives that were set at the beginning of the Six Sigma project, were reached. They are as follows: decreasing stator stack scrap for more than 40 percentage, decreasing measuring time of quality inspectors for more than 20 percentage as well as decreasing consumption of glue for more than 50 percentage.
