Abstract:Naložbene odločitve sodijo med najpomembnejše poslovne odločitve podjetij. Pomenijo lahko uspeh ali propad podjetja, zato jih moramo skrbno proučiti. Podjetja se srečujejo z visokimi stroški (dela, energije …), ki jih skušajo zniževati na različne načine. Podjetju predstavljamo dve naložbeni možnosti, in sicer avtomatizacija dela proizvodnje in kogeneracija – elektrarna na lesno biomaso;, s katerima lahko vpliva na znižanje stroškov dela in stroškov energije. Z metodo neto sedanje vrednosti smo proučili ekonomsko upravičenost obeh naložb in ugotovili, da sta obe za podjetje sprejemljivi in zelo zanimivi.

Title:ANALYSIS OF THE ECONOMIC VIABILITY OF THE TWO SELECTED INVESTMENTS TO REDUCE LABOR AND ENERGY COSTS IN A MANUFACTURING COMPANY X
Abstract:Investment decisions are among the most important business decisions of enterprises. They can mean the key to success or failure of a company, so they must be carefully considered. Companies are faced with high costs (labor, energy etc.), which can be reduced in many different ways. We have succeeded in building up two investment options for the company, namely the automation of production work and cogeneration - Biomass power plant, to which may be affected a reduction in labor costs and energy costs. With Net Present Value (NPV) method we studied the economic viability of both investments and we can conclude that for the company it is acceptable and very interesting.
