Title:KORPORATIVNO PROSTOVOLJSTVO - SODOBNI TREND ODGOVORNOSTI PODJETJA DO DRUŽBE

Abstract:Družbena odgovornost podjetij postaja vse pomembnejša. Pomembno za podjetja in menedžerje je, da se zavedajo tega pomena in pomagajo k dobrobiti širše družbe. Vse bolj se v ZDA in Evropi uveljavlja koncept korporativnega prostovoljstva, ki je hkrati tudi instrument korporativnega državljanstva. Magistrsko delo je razdeljeno na dva dela, in sicer teoretičen in empirični del. V teoretičnem delu smo povzeli različne izsledke pridobljene literature v slovenskem in tujem jeziku. Podrobneje smo predstavili strategije podjetja, družbeno odgovornost podjetja, pojem korporativno prostovoljstvo in njegove oblike ter dodali dobre primere iz prakse. Navedli smo tudi, kakšni so interesni razlogi podjetja za vpeljavo in izvajanje koncepta korporativnega prostovoljstva. V empiričnem delu smo navedli namen raziskave, cilje, velikost vzorca raziskave, način preverjanja izbranih hipotez in rezultate raziskave. V raziskavi je sodelovalo 200 podjetij z najvišjimi prihodki v letu 2013. Rezultate raziskave smo statistično obdelali s programom SPSS in jih nato predstavili. Ključni rezultati so pokazali, da povprečno razumevanje pomena atributov družbene odgovornosti ni višje v multinacionalnih podjetjih in tako dokazujejo, da se pomena družbene odgovornosti zavedajo tudi v drugih podjetjih v Sloveniji. Do enakega rezultata smo prišli tudi pri povprečnem dojemanju pomena značilnosti korporativnega prostovoljstva. Hkrati smo raziskovali tudi motive za vpeljavo korporativnega prostovoljstva in kot glavni motiv so anketirani menedžerji izbrali dojemanje družbene odgovornosti podjetja. Magistrska naloga tako zajema opredelitev pojma korporativno prostovoljstvo, oblike korporativnega prostovoljstva, poznavanje tega pojma v podjetjih v Sloveniji in je lahko tako uporabljena za nadaljnje študije na področju korporativnega prostovoljstva v Sloveniji.

Title:CORPORATE VOLUNTEERING – THE CURRENT TREND OF CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY TOWARDS SOCIETY
Abstract:Corporate social responsibility is growing in importance. It is vital for companies and managers to realize its significance and to contribute to the well-being of wider society. The concept of corporate volunteering, which is at the same time an instrument of corporate citizenship as well, is increasingly gaining ground in the USA and Europe. The Master's thesis consists of two parts, namely the theoretical and empirical part. The theoretical part summarizes various findings from Slovenian and foreign literature. Special attention was given to corporate strategies, corporate social responsibility, the concept of corporate volunteering and its formats, while examples of good practice were included as well. We also stated motivational grounds that would prompt a company to introduce and implement the concept of corporate volunteering. In the empirical part we stated the purpose of our research, aims, research sample size, approach to confirming the formulated hypotheses and research results. The research included 200 companies with the highest income in 2013. The research results were statistically analysed using SPSS programme and subsequently described. The key results reveal that the average understanding regarding the significance of social responsibility attributes is not greater in multinationals, which indicates that other Slovenian companies are aware of the significance of social responsibility as well. The same result was found about the average perception regarding the significance of corporate volunteering characteristics. At the same time we also studied motives for implementing corporate volunteering - the main motive chosen by the managers inquired was recognizing the value of corporate social responsibility. Accordingly, the Master's thesis includes the definition of corporate volunteering concept, formats of corporate volunteering and the familiarity with this term in Slovenian companies, which makes it applicable for further studies in the field of corporate volunteering in Slovenia.
