Abstract:
Naloga obravnava prenovo informacijskega sistema v podjetju Farmadent d.o.o.. Podan je jedrnat pregled literature o prenavljanju informacijskih sistemov. Analiza obstoječega informacijskega sistema je pokazala naslednje slabosti: pogoste odpovedi ali zmanjšana funkcionalnost, večkraten vnos istih podatkov, ne vsebuje vseh zahtevanih funkcij za vse poslovne enote in visoki stroški vzdrževanja. Uvedba novega informacijskega sistema je potekala po metodologiji Microsoft Sure Step, katere glavne faze so: diagnoza, analiza, načrtovanje, razvoj, namestitev in uporaba. Projekt uvedbe Microsoft Dynamics NAV2015 je bil izpeljan do zadnje faze, uporaba v praksi pa je predvidena v letu 2016. Pričakovati je, da bo nov informacijski sistem odpravil zaznane težave prejšnjega sistema.

Title:
REINGENEERING OF INFORMATION SYSTEM IN FARMADENT D.O.O. COMPANY
Abstract:
The thesis discusses the reengineering of the company Farmadent's informational system. Brief literature review information system reengineering is presented. The analysis of the current information system revealed the following issues: frequent faiures or decreased functionality, multiple data entry, required functinalities not available to all departments and high maintainance costs. Implementation of new information system followed the guidelines of Microsoft Sure Step methodology which consistthe following phases: diagnostic, analysis, design, development, deployment and operation. The project of introducing Microsoft Dynamics NAV2015 was conducted to the very last phase, operation phase is postponed in year 2016. It is expected that the new information system eliminate the perceived problems of the previous system.
