Abstract:
POVZETEK V diplomskem delu smo predstavili koncept vzgoje in izobraževanja za trajnostni razvoj in koncept okoljske vzgoje kot del vzgoje in izobraževanja za trajnostni razvoj. Predstavili smo vlogo šole in učiteljev pri izobraževanju za trajnostni razvoj. Ugotovili in ovrednotili smo pomen ekološke ozaveščenosti v vzgoji in izobraževanju za trajnostni razvoj. Na osnovi analize pedagoške dokumentacije Osnovne šole Tržišče smo predstavili projekt Ekošola in njene težnje delovanja. Našteli in opisali smo eko dejavnosti in eko vsebine, ki sovpadajo z okoljskim vidikom trajnostnega razvoja in načeli vzgoje in izobraževanja za trajnostni razvoj. Analizo eko dejavnosti smo izvedli s pomočjo koordinatorice Osnovne šole Tržišče. Izvedli smo analizo Učnega načrta za Naravoslovje in tehniko za 4. in 5. razred osnovne šole z vidika vsebin okoljske vzgoje in načel vzgoje in izobraževanja za trajnostni razvoj v sklopu Smernic vzgoje in izobraževanja za trajnostni razvoj, izdanih 2007 pri Ministrstvu Republike Slovenije za šolstvo in šport. Rezultati analize so pokazali dobro zastopanost učnih ciljev z okoljskega vidika, a so ti vsebinsko preozko zastavljeni. Ugotavljamo, da je vključevanje okoljskih vsebin trajnostnega razvoja v učenje in poučevanje v veliki meri odvisno od učiteljevega znanja, osebne ozaveščenosti in lastne angažiranosti. Preučili smo pomen učnega predmeta Naravoslovje in tehnika v 4. in 5. razredu osnovne šole za izobraževanje za trajnostni razvoj. V zaključnem delu diplomskega dela smo izvedli raziskavo o ekološki ozaveščenosti med učenci 4. in 5. razreda OŠ Tržišče v šolskem letu 2013/14. V intervjuju smo se osredotočili na ekološke vsebine, ki kažejo njihovo raven ekološke ozaveščenosti.

THE ECOLOGICAL AWARENESS OF PUPILS OF THE 4TH AND 5TH CLASS AT PRIMARY SCHOOL TRŽIŠČE
Abstract:
ABSTRACT In this diploma thesis we have represented the concept of education for the sustainable development and the concept of the environmental education as a part of the said development. We have represented the role of schools and teachers in the education for the sustainable development. We have found and evaluated the importance of environmental awareness in education for sustainable development. A project was presented, called “Ekošola” and its aspirations of functioning. It was based on the analysis of pedagogical documentation of Osnovna šola Tržišče. Our goal was to list and describe all of the “eco” activities and contents, which coincide with the environmental aspect and the principles of education of the sustainable development. The analysis of the “eco” activity was performed with the help of the coordinator from Osnovna šola Tržišče. An analysis of the Teaching plan for Science and technology was conducted for the fourth and fifth class in the primary school through the aspect of contents of environmental education and the principles of education for sustainable development. This was issued in 2007 by the Slovenian Ministry for Education, Science and Sport in the context of Guidelines of education for sustainable development. The results of the analysis showed a good representation of learning objectives from the environmental point of view, but they are set too narrowly in the terms of content. We can determine that the inclusion of environmental contents of sustainable development into learning and teaching manly depends on the teacher’s knowledge, personal awareness and one’s self engagement. We have studied the meaning of the subject Science and technology in the fourth and fifth class of the primary school as a subject of education for sustainable development. In the final part of this diploma thesis we have carried out a research about the ecological awareness amongst the pupils in the fourth and fifth class in Osnovna šola Tržišče in the school year 2013/14. In the interview, we have focused on the ecological contents, which show their level of ecological awareness.
