Title:COORDINATION DEVELOPEMENT IN CHILDHOOD
Abstract:Theoretical part of my thesis titled Coordination developement in childhood presents the meaning of movement for children, motor delopement, the influences on motor developement and motor skills, focusing on motor ability of coordination. The empirical part of pedagofical experiment deals with whether regular, planned and proffesionally supervised movement activity influences quicker coordination delopement with two to three year old children. Results achived at initial and final testing have been analised and put to comparison between experimental group that had ten weeks (twice a week) of planned and proffesionally supervised movement activities with the emphasis on coordination and control group that carried out regular movement activities according to annual curriculum. Children were tested with five test of motor skills. On the basis of t-test results it has been established that initial test showed no differences between children of experimental and control group whether final testing showed and proved difference in coordination skills. Experimental group children showed considerate progress in coordination skills in comparison to children of control group.
