Title:Razumevanje moralnih vrednot v osnovni šoli

Abstract:V magistrski nalogi smo obravnavali razumevanje in dojemanje moralnih vrednot pri učencih. Cilj raziskave je bil ugotoviti, kako učenci razumejo in dojemajo strpnost, resnicoljubnost, potrpežljivost in odgovornost. Pri tem nas je zanimalo, ali obstajajo razlike v dojemanju in razumevanju vrednot med učenci tretjega in šestega razreda. Magistrska naloga je sestavljena iz teoretičnega in empiričnega dela. V teoretičnem delu smo najprej razložili definicijo pojma »vrednota« ter zapisali lastnosti vrednot. Predstavili smo otrokov moralni razvoj skozi starostna obdobja. Opisali smo dejavnike, ki vplivajo na razvoj; to so družina, šola, vrstniki in mediji. Vsi imajo pomembno vlogo tako pri otrokovem moralnem razvoju kot tudi pri razvoju vrednot. Podrobneje smo opisali vrednote, ki smo jih proučevali pri učencih. V empiričnem delu pa smo s pomočjo anketnega vprašalnika ugotavljali, kako otroci razumejo in dojemajo določene vrednote (strpnost, resnicoljubnost, potrpežljivost, odgovornost). Raziskava je temeljila na neslučajnostnem priložnostnem vzorcu učencev iz osnovne šole Leskovec pri Krškem in je zajemala 49 učencev tretjega ter 51 učencev šestega razreda. Prišli smo do ugotovitev, da med učenci tretjega in šestega razreda ne obstajajo večje razlike v razumevanju in dojemanju naštetih vrednot. Pri šestošolcih se v določenih primerih pojavi bolj natančna razlaga izbranih pojmov. Najslabše razumljena vrednota je bila strpnost, ki jo je večina učencev napačno interpretirala. Učenci so si pri razlaganju vrednot pomagali z lastnimi moralnimi in osebnimi izkušnjami. Rezultate smo uredili s pomočjo programa SPSS in jih predstavili v tabelah.

Title:The Understanding of Moral Values in Primary Schools
Abstract:In the thesis we discussed the understanding and perception of students’ moral values. The aim of the research was to find out how students understand and perceive tolerance, veraciousness, patience and responsibility. Furthermore, we wanted to know whether there are differences in perception and understanding of values among students in the third and sixth grade. The thesis consists of the theoretical and empirical part. In the theoretical part we first explained the definition of the concept of value and wrote down the characteristics of values. We presented child's moral development through different age groups and described the factors that affect the development. These factors are family, school, peers and media. They all play an important role in child's moral development as well as in the development of values. We described the examined values in detail. In the empirical part we used a questionnaire to establish how children understand and perceive certain values (tolerance, veraciousness, patience, responsibility). The survey was based on a casual sample of students from primary school Leskovec pri Krškem and involved 49 students from the third and 51 students from the sixth grade. We came to the conclusion that among the students in the third and sixth grade there are no major differences in the understanding and perceptions of the listed values. In certain cases six grade students delivered a more accurate and detailed explanation of selected terms. The majority of students wrongly interpreted the value of tolerance, which was also the least understood. With the interpretation of values students have helped themselves with their moral and personal experience. The results were edited using the program SPSS and presented in tables.
