Abstract:
Diplomsko delo opisuje postopek izdelave namenske embalaže iz stiropora. V podjetju, kjer izdelujejo stekleničke za vodo, so potrebovali namensko embalažo za zaščito svojih izdelkov med transportom. Zahteva stranke je bila ustrezna embalaža za maloserijsko proizvodnjo, kjer izdelava orodja za stiroporno embalažo ne pride v poštev. V našem podjetju smo izdelali stroj za rezkanje in namensko orodje za izdelavo cilindričnih odprtin v kvadre iz stiropora. Stroj se lahko z menjavo orodja uporabi za izdelavo embalaže za druge izdelke. S tem diplomskim delom je podjetje pridobilo nov postopek izdelave maloserijskih izdelkov in razširilo ponudbo na področju izdelave embalaže iz stiropora.

Design and manufacture of a machine for the production of styrofoam packaging
Abstract:
Dissertation is describing procedure of making dedicated packaging from Styrofoam. In the company where are making bottles for water, they were needing dedicated packaging for the protection of their products between transport. Customer requirement was suitable packaging for small series production, where making a tool for shape moulded Styrofoam packaging is not an option. In our company we had made a maschine for milling and dedicated tool [7] for making a cylindrical openings in blocks from Styrofoam. If we change a tool in the maschine it can be used for making a packaging for other customers. With this dissertation the company has gained new procedure for making a small series products and has expanded a selection on field of making a packaging from Styrofoam.
