V teoretičnem delu so predstavljena dosedanja znanstvena spoznanja o glasbeno-pevskem razvoju učencev, oblikovanju otroškega glasu in vokalni tehniki ter delo zborovodje, njegova priprava in vodenje vokalne skupine. V praktičnem delu smo z namenom izboljšanja pevskega znanje v vokalno-tehničnem smislu oblikovali pet pevskih delavnic, v katere smo vključili deklice in dečke 4. razreda osnovne šole. Vpliv pevskih delavnic in pevskega napredka smo spremljali s pomočjo posebej oblikovane petstopenjske ocenjevalne lestvice s sedmimi splošno opazovanimi kriteriji s področja petja. Osebnostni vidik in odnos do petja smo preverili s pomočjo anketnega vprašalnika. Pri naši raziskavi smo opravili dve ocenjevanji. Prvo ocenjevanje smo izvedli po prvi pevski delavnici, ko smo učence naučili novo pesem. Dobili smo vpogled v predznanje posameznega učenca in njegove pevske navade. Tekom delavnic smo učence usmerjali in jih z ustreznimi vajami spodbujali k razvoju pevskih sposobnosti.

Title:WORKING WITH 4TH GRADE PRIMARY SCHOOL CHILDREN'S VOCAL GROUP
Abstract:Within the lessons of musical education we often do not have enough time to learn the songs slightly better and musically interpret the songs. For this purpose, the primary school class teacher can set up a children's vocal group, as an extracurricular activity for the pupils. Based on the purpose, the thesis entitled Working with 4th Grade Primary School Children's Vocal Group was written. The theoretical part presents scientific findings in musical development of students' singing, shaping childlike voice, vocal technique, and choir conductor’s work containing preparation and vocal group conducting. In the practical part five singing workshops were formed to improve singing skills and vocal techniques. The workshops were attended by 4th grade primary school girls and boys. We studied singing progress and pupils’ vocal technical skills improvement. We tested whether pupils can achieve singing progress in a few workshops by using appropriate exercises and conductor’s approach. We monitored the influence of singing workshops and singing progress with the help of specially designed five-rating scale with seven general singing criteria. We used a questionnaire to verify personal perspective and attitude towards singing. In our study we conducted two evaluations. The first evaluation was performed after the first singing workshop where pupils were taught a new song. We got an insight into the knowledge of each pupil and his singing habits. During the workshops, pupils were guided and encouraged to develop singing skills using the appropriate exercises. With the second assessment, which was conducted after completion of singing workshops, we checked the results of our work and the work of each pupil as a singer and his singing progress. The results showed that girls were more successful than boys and reached higher average grade according to the overall average rating of all seven criteria observed. In the total average score change of the two evaluations, we found that the results of both girls and boys show progress in all general observation criteria. We can conclude that, on average, all pupils made progress, improved their singing and their vocal technique knowledge. It turned out that the form of work we selected was very effective and well received among students who wanted to continue with the singing workshops. It might be appropriate to carry out this type of work more often in the school environment.
