Abstract:
Elektrodistribucijska podjetja stremijo k čim višji kakovosti in zanesljivosti dobavljene električne energije uporabnikom.

Title:
INFLUENCES ON THE OPERATION OF CABLES
Abstract:
Electricity utilities are striving for highest possible quality and reliability of electricity supplied to customers. With modern cable construction higher reliability than with overhead lines can be achieved. With all advantages they bring, it also need to be considered different impacts on the cables at the stage of planning, laying and the mounting of the cable accessories and external factors. Operation of cable depends on several factors, which can be considered already at the planning stage and reduces both the investment costs (lower cost of construction), as well as maintenance costs. In order to reduce the cost of investment the comparison of the backfill materials in the programming tool Matlab and EleFAnT was made. Other external effects (atmospheric overvoltage, installation method and natural effects) and other solutions that are used in Slovenia and beyond are presented. At the end are given conditions for the construction of cables, cable network design steps and conditions for selecting the type of cable.
