Abstract:Gradnja velikih gradbenih projektov v zdravstvu zahteva veliko pozornosti, ker se pri tem porablja ogromno sredstev iz javne blagajne. V diplomskem delu sem se osredotočila na gradnjo Onkološkega Inštituta Ljubljana. Projekti se vodijo preko javnih razpisov, zato obstaja možnost pojava korupcije, ki je konflikt med interesi javnosti in trga. Problem se pojavi takrat, ko se posamezniki odločijo zanemariti zakone in pravila v svojo korist.

Title:CORRUPTION IN HEALTH - CASE STUDY OF CONSTRUCTION INSTITUTE OF ONCOLOGY
Abstract:The construction of big buildings in the health department attracts a lot of attention because much of the public fund is spent on it. In this task I have focused on the construction of The Institute of Oncology in Ljubljana. The projects are decided through public tenders and that is where the corruption is likely to happen. Corruption is a conflict of interest between the public and the market. The problem starts as soon as the individuals decide not to abide by the law and bend the rules to suite themselves rather than the public.
