Ob poznavanju teoretičnih znanj s področja tiflopedagogike smo izdelali pripomočke, ki so namenjeni prav urjenju in razvijanju taktilno-kinestetične percepcije, motorike, orientacije v mikro in makro prostoru.

Title:DOTS TRANSFORMING INTO LETTERS
Abstract:Written word plays a key role in acquiring information, both in the educational process and in everyday life. What standard reading and writing is for the sighted, Braille is for the blind and visually impaired – a specific form of receiving information. The master's thesis titled "Dots Transforming into Letters" addresses the issues of early teaching of Braille and lack of teaching tools for the visually impaired for playing and early literacy training. Proceeding from theoretical knowledge concerning the education of the visually impaired, we have designed tools for training and development of tactile-kinesthetic perception, motoric capabilities, and orientation in the micro and macro environments. A set of six teaching tools for early literacy training has been designed with special focus on the development of tactile-kinesthetic perception. Although no technical tool can restore sight to the blind, it can nevertheless help them live an independent life.
Keywords:blind and visually impaired children, Braille, teaching tools for the visually impaired
