Abstract:Na simulatorju Gleeble smo pripravili vzorce materiala z mikrostrukturo štirih različnih TVP ob črti taljenja. Iz njih smo izdelali preizkušance za merjenje udarne in lomne žilavosti. Lomno žilavost smo izmerili pri dveh vrstah majhnih preizkušancev z razpoko: pri okroglih nateznih in upogibnih SENB-preizkušancih. Pri prvih smo lahko določili KIc, pri drugih pa thetac. Ko primerjamo vrednosti thetac s KIc, dobimo preoptimistične rezultate. Debelina SENB-preizkušancev je tudi pri zelo nizki lommni žilavosti še premajhna.

Title:Comparison of HAZ fracture toughness measured by two types of small scale specimens
Abstract:Samples of material with microstructures of four different HAZ situated at the fusion line were prepared on a Gleeble simulator. Specimens for the experimental determination of impact and fracture toughness were machined from samples. The fracture toughness was measured on two types of small pre-cracked specimens. The KIc was determined on round tensile specimens while the thetac was obtained from SENB specimens. The results obtained from the SENB specimens are too optimistic in comparison with the KIc. The SENB specimens are not thick enough, even at very low fracture toughness.
