Abstract:	Rast in širitev mest povzroča spremembe v strukturi mest. S preseljevanjem prebivalstva iz notranjih delov mest na zunanje dele, s pojavom suburbanizacije, dobi rob mesta veliko vlogo v načrtovanju in oblikovanju mest. Magistrsko delo obravnava širjenje mesta na južnem območju mesta Murska Sobota. Tam je v načrtu izgradnje južna mestna obvoznica. Nastane območje med mestom ter obvoznico, ki smo ga skozi nalogo obravnavali v dveh delih. V prvem delu naloge smo analizirali širše ter ožje območje, raziskovali rob mesta in njegovo podobo. Analizirali smo tudi obravnavano območje glede razvojnih potencialov. Tako nas je ta prvi del vodil v drugega. Zasnovali smo sosesko, ki vključuje stanovanjski del in del s centralnimi dejavnostmi. Vsako posebej je razdeljeno na posamezne enote, znotraj katerih je več tipov gradenj. Tako smo uredili novonastalo območje v razgibano sosesko z velikimi zelenimi površinami, ki skupaj z južno mestno obvoznico ustvarjajo novi mestni rob.

Title:	HOUSING PLAN ON THE SOUTHERN EDGE OF MURSKA SOBOTA IN UNITS OF SPATIAL PLANNING SO99 AND MS30
Abstract:	The growth and the expansion of cities cause changes in the structure of cities. With the migration of the population from the inner parts of the cities to the outer parts, with the emergence of suburbanization, the edge of the city gets a big role in the planning and designing cities. The master's thesis deals with the expansion of the city on the southern area of the city Murska Sobota. The construction of the southern city bypass is planned there. The area between the city and the bypass is formed, which was dealt through the thesis in two parts. In the first part of the thesis we analyzed the wider and narrower area, we explored the edge of the city and its image. We also analyzed the treated area in the terms of development potentials. This first part led in the second one. We designed the neighborhood, which includes the residential part and the part of the central activities. Each of these is divided into individual units, within which there are several types of constructions. That is how we edited a newly created area in the dynamic neighborhood with large green areas, which together with the southern city bypass create a new urban edge
