Abstract:Osnovni namen magistrskega dela je prispevati k boljšemu razumevanju motenj vedenja pri otrocih in mladostnikih ter obravnavati vpliv motenj vedenja na otrokovo funkcioniranje in vedenje.

Title:CONDUCT DISORDERS IN CHILDREN
Abstract:The primary purpose of the master's thesis is to contribute to a better understanding of conduct disorders in children and adolescents and to discuss the impact of conduct disorders in the child's functioning and behavior. Much has been written on conduct disorders, however a lot remains unexplored and misunderstood. Dissertation is designed theoretically. With the help of scientific literature and resources we try to specify the conduct disorder, its protective factors and risk factors, in order to define family and school environment and to identify the possible consequences of inadequate living environment for the life of a child with conduct disorder. We focus our attention on the early treatment of conduct disorders, since researches show that they represent one of the most common causes of psychiatric treatment during childhood and adolescence and a high risk for mental and physical health of children and adolescents in their later life. The research results indicate that conduct disorder represents one of the most heterogeneous forms of mental disorders in childhood and adolescence, which may already begin in early childhood. Research confirms that at least 50% of adults with a mental disorder had a childhood diagnosis of conduct disorder. Their early identification, treatment and prevention is therefore of utmost importance.
