Abstract:
V strojništvu se vse več srečujemo s toplotno obdelavo jekel, katere namen je doseči optimalne mehanske lastnosti ter načrtovano mikrostrukturo, zato je nujno temeljito poznavanje tako osnov kot tudi sodobnih postopkov toplotne obdelave. Diplomsko delo za uvod predstavlja podjetje Miheu d.o.o., v teoretičnem delu na kratko opisuje osnove toplotnih obdelav in obširneje postopek cementiranja. V praktičnem delu opisuje sodobno računalniško vodeno linijo za toplotno kemično obdelavo. Prikazuje tudi proces krmiljenja linije pri izvedbi cementiranja. Delo prikazuje tudi vpliv parametrov pri procesu cementiranja na doseženo trdoto in globino cementirane plasti ter na nastalo mikrostrukturo v jedru. Rezultat raziskave dokazuje, da se pri višji temperaturi naogljičenja doseže večja globina cementirane plasti kot pri nižji temperaturi, razlike pri doseženi trdoti na površini jekla pa ni. Iz raziskave je tudi razvidno, da je mikrostruktura v jedru odvisna od temperature in časa avstenitizacije ter od hitrosti ohlajanja.

Computer-controlled case hardening
Abstract:
In mechanical engineering we are increasingly confronted with the heat treatment of steels, the purpose of which is to achieve optimal mechanical properties and designed microstructure. Therefore it is recommended to have good basic knowledge of the heat treatment processes. This diploma thesis begins with the introduction of the Miheu d.o.o. company. In the theoretical part, the basics of the heat treatment processes are described in short, with more emphasis on the carburizing process. In the practical part, the modern computer-regulated system for chemical heat treatment is presented. It reveals also the regulation of the system through the carburizing process. Furthermore, this thesis analyses the influence of different parameters in the process of carburizing on the hardness and depth of the carburized layer as well as the core microstructure. The result of the research shows that at a higher temperature of carburizing there is greater depth of carburized layer than at a lower temperature, without the difference in hardness achieved on the steel surface. The study also shows that the core microstructure depends on the temperature and austenitizing time as well as the cooling rate.
