Abstract:
Zaradi korenitih sprememb družbene strukture in vsakodnevne interakcije v 50 letih od izgradnje obravnavane soseske Jugomont so mnogi arhitekturni, sociološki in tehnološki vidiki povsem zastareli in potrebni celovitih prilagoditev. V nalogi zagovarjamo prenovo in zgoščevanje obstoječe stavbne strukture napram zanemarjanju stanovanjskih sosesk iz povojnega obdobja ter grajenju novih sosesk na obrobju mesta. Naloga predstavlja idejno zasnovo urbane regeneracije funkcionalistične soseske v sosesko, ki bo zgrajena po načelih sodobnega bivanja, v katerem je sprememba edina konstanta. S predstavljenimi posegi želimo monofunkcionalno stanovanjsko sosesko spremeniti v večplastno bivanjsko izkušnjo.

Title:
URBAN REGENERATION OF JUGOMONT NEIGHBOURHOOD IN MARIBOR
Abstract:
Due to comprehensive changes in the social structure and everyday interaction within the last 50 years since the construction of the Jugomont neighborhood, many architectural, sociological and technological aspects are completely outdated and in need of regeneration. In the thesis we advocate for the renovation and densification of the existing building structures as opposed to neglecting the existing post-war residential neighborhoods and building new neighborhoods on the outskirts of the city. The thesis introduces a conceptual design of the urban regeneration of a functionalist neighborhood into a neighborhood that will follow the principles of contemporary living in which change is the only constant. With the presented interventions we want to transform this monofunctional residential neighborhood into a multifaceted existential experience.
