Abstract:
Pri izdelavi diplomskega dela smo obravnavali dva večja zastavljena problema. Prvi je zajemal področje računalniškega vida in realno časovno zaznavo objekta, v našem primeru osnovnega geometrijskega telesa, kroga. Drugi problem je bil določanje pozicije v 3D prostoru temu objektu in preračunavanje potrebnih premikov plovila za sledenje le-temu. Skozi celoten postopek dela smo naredili pregled nad različnimi pristopi na področju zaznave objektov, posvetili smo se pristopu zaznavanja premikov objekta in osnovam upravljanja plovila v 3D prostoru. Oba zastavljena problema smo v praksi uspešno rešili. Končen produkt slednjih je predstavljalo uspešno izvedeno upravljanje plovila s pomočjo izvajanja premikov kroga.

Title:
VESSEL CONTROLLING BY OBJECT TRACKING
Abstract:
For diploma work we decided to focus on two major problems. The first one comprises an area of computer vision and real time object recognition which was basic geometric shape – circle in our case. The second problem was positioning of this object in 3D space and calculation of possible moves of a vessel to track it down. Through entire project scope we made an overview of different attitudes in object detection area, we focused on sensing object motion, and went through basics of vessel controlling in 3D space. We succeeded to implement both problems in our project. The final outcome was ability to control vessel according to circle movements.
