Title:ANALIZA VPLIVA STRESA IN IZGOREVANJA PRI MEDICINSKIH SESTRAH V ENOTAH INTENZIVNE TERAPIJE

Abstract:Magistrsko delo obravnava davek sodobne družbe – stres na delovnem mestu. Dolgi delovni cas, prevec delovnih nalog, izmensko delo, odgovoren delovni položaj in podobni ustvarjalci stresa so postali stalnica delovnih razmerij. Vsak clovek se s stresom sooca drugace, razlicni pa so pravtako vplivi stresa na vsakega posameznika. Posledice stresa se lahko fizicno kažejo v obliki zvišanega krvnega tlaka, pogostih glavobolih, razjedi na želodcu, duševnih boleznih itd. Raziskavo smo izvedli v Perioperativni intenzivni terapiji Klinike za kirurgijo, na Oddelku za intenzivno interno medicino Klinike za interno medicino in v Enoti za pediatricno intenzivno nego in terapijo v Univerzitetnem Klinicnem centru v Mariboru. Raziskovalni vzorec je zajemal 100 anketiranih medicinskih sester in zdravstvenih tehnikov. Medicinske sestre teh oddelkov so delo na delovnem mestu ocenile kot izjemno ali zelo stresno, še zlasti je stres izrazito prisoten pri sestrah v Enoti za pediatricno intenzivno nego in terapijo.Zaradi višje zaznavnosti stresa pa je potrjena tudi vecja pojavnost glavobola.

Title:An analysis of the impact of stress and burnout on the nurses in intensive care units
Abstract:The impact of stress and burrn out in the work place: the causes of the work place stres experienced by nurses and medical technicians in intensive care units in departments of surgery, pediatric and internal medicine. This thesis deals with an increasingly common problem in today's society – stress at work. Very long work days, toomany worktasks, rotating shifts, positions that carry responsibility and other similar triggers of stress, have become regular features with in the workplace. Each individual deals with stress differently, and the impact of stress on each individual also varies. Stress can be physically manifested in the form of raised bloodpressure, frequent headaches, gastriculcers, mental illnesses, etc. There search was conducted in the perioperative intensive therapy clinics of surgery, Department of Intensive Internal Medicine Clinic of Internal Medicine and Unit for pediatric intensive careand therapy at the University Medical Centre in Maribor. There search sample consisted of 100 respondents nurses and medical technicians. Nurses these departments are working in theworkplace evalu at edas extremely orvery stressful, especially stress markedly present in the sisters in units for pediatric intensive care and therapy. Due to thehig herdetection of stress is also confirmed higher incidence of headache.
