Abstract:
V diplomskem delu je predstavljena analiza vpliva alkohola na varnost v cestnem prometu v obdobju med 2008 in 2013. Na podlagi statističnih podatkov je prikazano število prometnih nesreč glede na različne dejavnike. Statistična analiza je pokazala, da se je število prometnih nesreč v Sloveniji iz leta v leto zmanjševalo. Zmanjšalo se je število nesreč alkoholiziranih povzročiteljev, ki so se končale s smrtjo. Število nesreč, ki so se zaradi alkoholiziranosti voznikov končale s telesno poškodbo ali materialno škodo, se je prav tako z leti zmanjševalo. Predstavljene so tudi posledice prometnih nesreč glede na različne dejavnike. Analiza statističnih podatkov je pokazala, da je vpliv alkohola na varnost v cestnem prometu še vedno velik problem. V zaključku naloge so podani predlogi za izboljšanje stanja.

ANALYSIS OF ALCOHOL INFLUENCE ON ROAD TRAFFIC SAFETY
Abstract:
The thesis presents the analysis of the influence that alcohol had on road traffic safety in the period between 2008 and 2013. Based on statistical data the thesis presents the number of accidents due to different factors. A statistical analysis has shown that the number of accidents in Slovenia has decreased every year in that period. The number of fatal accidents, caused by drunk drivers, has also decreased. The same trend could be observed at the number of accidents, caused by drunk drivers, which ended with bodily harm or material damage. Also presented are the consequences of accidents due to different factors. The analysis of statistical data has shown that the effect of alcohol on road traffic safety is still a large problem. That is why the last part of the thesis presents some suggestions for the improvement of the current state.
