Abstract:Z nasiljem se dandanes človek srečuje na vseh področjih svojega življenja. Med različne vrste nasilja, ki jih poznamo spada tudi nasilje v družini. Diplomska naloga raziskuje področje nasilja v družini, saj predstavlja pereč problem današnje družbe. To pa zato ker je prisotno v vseh družbenih slojih, kulturah in religijah. Zmotno je mišljenje, da se nasilje dogaja le v revnih in neizobraženih družinah. Predstavili in opisali smo različne oblike nasilja, te pa se pogosto med seboj tudi dopolnjujejo. Med žrtvami nasilja prevladujejo ženske in otroci, so pa žrtve nasilja tudi moški in starejši. V diplomski nalogi smo si zastavili vprašanje: Kakšne možnosti in odgovornosti imata žrtev in nasilnež, kdo lahko pomaga in kako? Da bi lahko odgovorili na zastavljeno vprašanje, smo opisali potek prijave nasilja, ukrepe ter naloge pristojnih institucij, organov ter nevladnih organizacij, ki so dolžne pomagati žrtvam nasilja. Z zgodbo, ki nam jo je zaupala žrtev nasilja smo želeli predstaviti izkušnje z nasiljem, življenje z nasilnežem, iskanje pomoči ter izhod iz nasilja.

Title:DOMESTIC VIOLENCE
Abstract:Nowadays violence can be met in every field of one's life. Among many different types of violence we know there is also domestic violence. This diploma thesis explores the field of family vionence, since it represents a significant problem in today's society and is present in every social class, cultural environment and religion. It si wrong to believe that violence only occurs in poor and uneducated families. We have introduced and described different forms off abuse which often complement one another. The majority of violence victims are woman and children, yet even men and elderly can be affacted. In our thesis the following question was raised: What kind of possibilities and responsabilities do the victim and the violent person have, who can help and how? In order to answer this question we have described the process of reporting violence to authorities, their tasks as well as measurements taken by institutions, agencies and NGOs who are responsible for offering help to the victims of violence. By telling a story of a violence victim we have tried to present some experience whit abuse, a life with a bully, a search for help and a way out of the violence.
