Abstract:Diplomska naloga obravnava vlogo ter pomen in vpliv embalaže na več različnih vidikov: na okolje, na kupne navade potrošnika, na onesnaževanje okolja in podnebne razmere.

Title:The importance of recycled packaging in selling Radenska, d.d.
Abstract:The thesis considers the impact and meaning as well as influence of packaging from multiple perspectives: environmental, consumer buying habits, pollution and climatic conditions. The decision of a consumer determines the amount of packaging waste and its influence on environmental pollutions. This represents a great problem nowadays and requires a thoughtful consideration of the consumer, regarding choosing the appropriate type of packaging. In the thesis, the packaging is categorized in several different ways. Firstly, it discusses the general terms associated with the word packaging. Secondly, in the practical part of the thesis, we focus on the existing state of Radenska d.d., the quantity of different types of packaging, ways of filling up the plastic and glass bottles as well as the sales of the packaging itself. Based on this data a critical analysis and a renewal of the existing state has been made. The main goal of this thesis was to research the impact of packaging on the decisions consumers make and to suggest a rationalization of operations of the company. The results of the research show that people mainly choose to purchase plastic bottles, due to its low costs and practicality. Solving this problem in Slovenia could happen by encouraging reusable and disposable packaging to be taxed the way it is in other European countries.
