Abstract:
Podjetje XY d.o.o. je del koncerna, ki se ukvarja z izdelavo izdelkov za avtomobilsko industrijo. Del podjetja je tudi proizvodnja linija Just-In-Time (JIT), kjer poteka montaža avtomobilskih sedežev. V diplomskem delu je podrobneje predstavljeno obstoječe stanje zalog, embalaže in skladiščnega poslovanja obravnavanega podjetja. Problem podjetja se pojavlja v neučinkovitem skladiščnem poslovanju, ki je povezano z neracionalno količino zalog in neprimerno skladiščno tehnologijo. Rešitev je v diplomskem delu predstavljena z reorganizacijo skladiščnega prostora in skladiščnega poslovanja. Kot rešitev smo predlagali zamenjavo sedanje regalne konstrukcije s pretočnim regalom. S tem bi se izognili ročnim manipulacijam, ki potekajo po sistemu First-In-First-Out (FIFO), odpravile bi se poškodbe blaga, talno odlaganje in izboljšala preglednost nad uskladiščenim materialom. Določili smo tudi nove količine zalog, ki bodo omogočile nemoteno proizvodnjo in nižje skladiščne stroške. Z vsemi predlaganimi rešitvami bi pridobili na času, ki je potreben za izvedbo skladiščnih procesov, kar predstavlja prihranek podjetju.

Title:
The impact of packaging and stocks on the warehousing efficiency in the company XY, Ltd.
Abstract:
The company XY Ltd. is a part of a concern which is producing products for car industry. A part of the company is also a production line Just-In-Time (JIT), where the car seat construction is taking place. In the thesis we present the current state of packaging, stacks and the warehouse efficiency of the company XY Ltd. The problem of the company appears to be in a low warehousing efficiency, which is connected with irrational amount of stock and inappropriate warehousing technology. In the thesis we present the solution by reorganizing the warehouse space and warehouse operating. As a solution we suggested the change of the existing rack construction with a pallet flow rack. With this solution we would avoid manual manipulations, which now insured the operating by First-In-First-Out (FIFO) system. We would avoid the damage of the goods, floor disposal and improve the visibility over the stored material. We also specified new amount of stocks, which will enable undisturbed production and lower warehousing costs. With all the proposed solutions we would gain the time needed for performing the warehousing processes, which means lower costs for a company XY Ltd.
