Abstract:V diplomskem delu bomo predstavili področje razširjene resničnosti in prepoznavanja gest. Pridobljeno znanje bomo aplicirali na izdelku, in sicer na aplikaciji, ki bo združevala obe področji. Aplikacija bo izdelana na Unity 3D-platformi v programskem jeziku C#. Razširjena resničnost bo delovala na osnovi prepoznave in sledenja unikatnega markerja, za prepoznavo kretenj pa bo uporabljala napravo Leap Motion. Aplikacija bo delovala tako, da bo prek uporabnikove kamere najprej poiskala marker in s pomočjo tega razširila resničnost s 3D-modelom. Nato bo s pomočjo naprave Leap Motion sledila uporabnikovim kretnjam in smiselno animirala 3D-objekt, odvisno od tipa kretenj.

Title:Gesture-based object manipulation within augmented reality
Abstract:In this thesis we will intruduce the field of augmented reality and gesture recognition. We will present the knowledge we gained with an application which will combine both of the fields. Application will be made with Unity 3D platform in C# programming language. Augmented reality will be applied with tracking of unique marker. For gesture recognition we will use the Leap Motion sensor. Application will first try to find a marker with use of users webcam and augment the reality with 3D model. Afterwards it will track users gestures with help of the Leap Motion sensor and animate the 3D object accordingly.
