Abstract:
Računalništvo v oblaku je širok pojem, njegov pomen pa je vedno bolj cenjen v podjetjih. Podjetjem namreč uporaba računalništva v oblaku prinese veliko prednosti, od dostopnosti do podatkov kadarkoli in kjerkoli do cenovno ugodnega shranjevanja podatkov. Ker pa je na trgu oblačnih storitev veliko ponudnikov, je namen tega diplomskega dela raziskati in primerjati ponudbo največjih ponudnikov oblačnih storitev shranjevanja podatkov. Diplomski seminar predstavi in razišče osnovne pojme računalništva v oblaku, kot so razvoj, modeli in storitve računalništva v oblaku ter vpliv na poslovanje. Drugi del diplomskega dela pa predstavi najbolj poznane ponudnike oblačnih storitev in sicer Amazon, Google in Microsoft, ter razišče njihovo ponudbo oblačnih storitev.

THE IMPACT OF CLOUD COMPUTING ON BUSINESS
Abstract:
Cloud Computing is a broad concept and its importance is increasingly appreciated in the business environment. The use of cloud computing brings many advantages, from access to information anytime and anywhere to affordable data storage. However, since there are many different cloud providers on the market, the purpose of this diploma work is to explore and compare offers of the largest cloud storage providers. In this diploma, we will present and explore basic concepts of cloud computing, such as the development, service models and cloud computing and its impact on business. The second part of diploma presents the best known providers of cloud services, namely Amazon, Google and Microsoft, as well as explore their cloud services offers.
