Abstract:
Projektna naloga podaja osnovne mehanske in fizikalne lastnosti materialov suhomontažne gradnje.

Title:
DRYWALL CONSTRUCTION TECHNOLOGY IN RESIDENTIAL SPACES
Abstract:
This project work deals with basic mechanical and physical characteristics of the materials used in the drywall construction. It briefly discusses the course of development and scope of use of plasterboard. The main focus lies on the technology of handling plasterboard and other basic drywall materials; hence they are described in great detail. The project work furthermore aims to present the manufacture of dry screed, partition walls, walls with fixtures and plasterboard ceilings. Due to simple manufacture drywall constructions are very common in privately-owned houses. This type of construction is suitable for renovating the old buildings or constructing the new ones. Construction can be completed quickly and therefore prevents additional moisture to draw in; as a consequence the period of performance is much longer. Drywall construction makes it possible for installations to be easily fit in beforehand or simultaneously. Installations are not lost in material even after the whole process has been finished. Construction works are carried out in steps following specific order: setting up structure or substructure, installation works, insulation works, fixing plasterboards and levelling contacts or entire surface.
