Abstract:Predstavljeno delo je namenjeno odkrivanju človekove vključenosti z medijem akcije- video igro. Opisani so dejavniki, ključni za imerzijo (potopitev) igralca v video igro. Uporabljene so deskriptivne metode tujih raziskovalcev na danem področju, pojavljajo pa se tudi komparativne metode primerjanja video igre s filmom ali z drugo vrsto igre. Pojavlja se vprašanje o tem, ali sta perspektiva gledanja in stopnja realnosti odločilna faktorja za potopitev. Izkaže se, da temu ni tako in da so za potopitev zadolženi mnogi drugi, od subjekta- igralca odvisni dejavniki.

Title:Video game and immersion of the player
Abstract:Presented work is based on discovering a persons involvment with the medium of action- video game. Key factors following immersion of the player are described. Descriptive methods of research are used, as well as comparative methods (when describing different environments between video game and film or differences in the video game genre). A question about perspective and realness being the deciding factors of immersive gameplay arises. It turns out that many other, subject-oriented factors influence the level of immersion.
