Abstract:Tematika varnostnih in asistenčnih sistemov nas že nekaj časa izjemno zanima.

Abstract:Safety and assistance systems are quite an interesting theme for us and it has been for quite a long time. The reason for such enthusiasm is due to opportunity to test a lot of different cars in the last few years. Auto-moto sector was fascinating even before that, but we became more acitevely involved just after passing the driving test. Most of the data included in our bachelor thesis was gained at Seat Slovenija, which is part of Porsche Slovenija and globally under Volkswagen Group. The biggest problem was the field of legislation on these safety and assistance systems because even professionals do not have all the answers. Throughout our thesis we also compared development of vehicles, their equipment and improvements in the field of vehicle safety. During our work we came to interesting conclusions, where we confirmed that vehicle safety and assistance systems are in tight connection with legislation and their level of safety. Furthermore, the assistance systems began developing in the last decade, therefore they still depend on human factor and because of that they are much more interesting than the regular safety systems. They still have some room to manoeuvre for improvements.
