Abstract:
V diplomskem delu spremljamo vakuumsko cementacijo z in-situ meritvijo električne upornosti. To nam omogoča boljši vpogled v razumevanje pojavov, ki se odvijajo v vzorcih med samim procesom. Preizkuse izvedemo na vzorcih tehnično čistega železa in zlitine železa z 3 ut. % kroma. V nadaljevanju so vzorci razogljičeni, kar služi kot indikator vpliva kroma na povračljivost mikrostrukture glede na zgodovino naogljičenja.

Title:
Vacuum carburizing of steels
Abstract:
In the present work, vacuum carburizing is monitored by the use of in-situ electrical resistivity measurements. This enables us to gain deeper insight into the underlying physical phenomena. The experiments were conducted on samples of technically pure iron and a model alloy with the addition of 3 wt. % chromium. In the succeeding step, the samples are decarburized, the resulting microstructures serve as an indication on the influence of chromium on the reversibility of the microstructure with a carburizing history.
