Abstract:
Kontracepcija je že zelo star način preprečevanja neželene nosečnosti. Potrebe po kontracepciji se spreminjajo glede na starost in spolne navade, zato je pomembno, da sta zdravstvena in spolna vzgoja sestavni del vzgoje za življenje. Raziskava je temeljila na kvantitativnem raziskovanju. Raziskavo smo izvedli v dispanzerju za ženske Zdravstvenega doma dr. Adolfa Drolca v Mariboru, med 100 mladostnicami, starimi med 15 in 19 let. Pri tem smo ugotavljali, ali so mladostnice seznanjene z vrstami in s pomenom kontracepcije in kakšen je njihov odnos do kontracepcije ter spolno prenosljivih bolezni. Rezultati raziskave so pokazali, da so mladostnice zelo dobro seznanjene z različnimi vrstami kontracepcijskih sredstev, saj jih večina tudi uporablja. Uporabnice so informacije o kontracepciji dobile iz različnih virov, zadovoljne pa so bile tudi z navodili o njihovi uporabi, s katerimi so jih seznanile medicinske sestre in ginekolog. Mladostnice poznajo tudi spolno prenosljive bolezni, stopnja poznavanja pa se precej razlikuje. Na podlagi izvedene raziskave lahko sklepamo, da bomo morali vsi, ki delamo z mladostnicami, vložiti še veliko truda in opraviti precej zdravstveno-vzgojnega dela za osveščanje na tistih področjih, ki so jim manj poznana.

Title:
Girls in adolescence and contraception
Abstract:
Birth control is a very old method of prevention of undesirable pregnancy. The necessity of birth control is changing in terms of age and sexual habits. Therefore, it is important to keep health and sex education basic component of life. The dissertation includes a description and features of adolescence, different kinds of birth control and its importance, as well as presentations of sexually transmitted diseases. The research is based on a quantitative research. With this research, carried out in the health centre “dr. Adolf Drolc” in Maribor among 100 adolescent women aged between 15 and 19, we wanted to observe, if adolescents are familiar with kinds and importance of birth control, including their attitude to birth control and sexually transmitted diseases. The results of research indicate that adolescents are very well informed about various kinds of contraceptive methods, since the majority uses them as well. They acquire information from different sources and are also satisfied with an explanation about their implementation given by a nurse and a gynaecologist. Adolescents are also more or less acknowledged with sexually transmitted diseases. Therefore, all those engaged in work with adolescents, will have to make more medically-educational effort in order to raise a higher level of awareness in those fields that are less familiar to them.
