Abstract:
V diplomskem delu so opisani glavni vzroki, ki lahko vodijo do letalskih nesreč, obenem pa so predstavljene službe, ki skrbijo za varnost v letalskem prometu. V nadaljevanju je prikazano, kako slovenski nacionalni prevoznik Adria Airways skrbi za svojo varnost in s tem tudi varnost potnikov. Pri proučevani letalski nesreči, ki se je zgodila v Sloveniji, se je izkazalo, do česa lahko vodi neupoštevanje varnostnih predpisov. Za predhodno preprečitev nesreč morajo biti izpolnjeni in upoštevani vsi varnostni standardi, vse službe letalskega prevoza pa morajo med seboj sodelovati, si zaupati in biti usklajene. Vsako nesrečo, ki se zgodi, pa je treba temeljito analizirati in ugotoviti, kaj jo je povzročilo, saj lahko le tako pridemo do novih spoznanj in tako preprečimo naslednje podobne dogodke.

Air traffic accidents
Abstract:
The present paper presents the main causes that may lead to air traffic accidents. An insight into different professional services involved in the air traffic safety is given as well. The way how the Slovenian national carrier Adria Airways deals with the air traffic safety and with the safety of passengers is also presented. The air traffic accident that happened in Slovenia revealed the consequences of a non-compliance with the air traffic standards. In order to prevent air traffic accidents all security standards have to be followed and complied with. Besides that, every accident has to be analyzed into details to find out the reasons why it has happened in order to prevent the future similar events. All professional services as well as air traffic organizations need to cooperate, trust each other, and act coordinately. Every accident has to be analyzed in details in order to learn from it and thus prevent future similar events.
