Abstract:
Magistrsko delo obravnava področja Informacijskih modelov zgradb, trajnostne gradnje, življenjskega cikla objektov, IFC formatov in interoperabilnosti. Preko študije obstoječega strokovnega gradiva obravnavanih področij smo postavili teoretična izhodišča za raziskavo. Na podlagi kompetentnega študijskega modela, smo skozi raziskavo in testiranja najbolj razširjene in dostopne programske opreme pokazali, da je mogoče uporabiti informacijskih model zgradbe, preko IFC formatov, tekom celotnega življenjskega cikla objekta in tako zadostiti osnovnim načelom trajnostne gradnje. V končni diskusiji in zaključku smo podali ugotovitve naše raziskave in ovrednotili izsledke tudi s strokovnega vidika.

Title:
BIM AS A CONCEPT OF SUSTAINABLE CONSTRUCTION DESING
Abstract:
Dissertation deals with the Building Information Models, sustainable construction, building life-cycle, IFC file formats and interoperability. Through the study of the existing researches of the inquired areas the theoretical starting point for the research were set. A reliable and competent study case was modeled and tested though the usage of IFC file formats, with most widespread and accessible software. It has been shown that BIM and IFC file formats could be used to facilitate through whole building’s life-cycle analysis and so satisfy the basic principles of sustainable construction. In the final discussion and conclusion our research findings are made and results evaluated from an experts point of view.
