Abstract:Kot posledica hitrega razvoja sodobne informacijske tehnologije je računalnik pred leti postal del vsakdanjega življenja za večino ljudi.

Title:DIGITAL VIOLENCE IN PRIMARY SCHOOL
Abstract:A few years ago, a computer has become a part of everyday life for most people which is the result of a quick development of the modern information technology. Subsequently, this was the reason for the development of digital violence which is nowadays very common among students. Despite this fact, it is extremely difficult to recognize and control (Pšunder, 2012). In the theoretical part, we described the term digital violence, compared it with traditional violence, explained key terms, and distinguished among different types of digital violence. Then we examined and described the characteristics of bullies and victims, and searched for advice for help. In the following sections of the thesis, we briefly described Slovene webpages and projects on the subject, and described results of some foreign studies. In the empirical part of the thesis, we interpreted the results of a survey questionnaire on the subject digital violence acquired by the students of an elective course Digital safety. The survey questionnaire was intended for professional pedagogical workers and with it, we established techniques of digital violence prevention, measures made use of, and sources of information about the digital violence phenomena among students. We interviewed Ms Maja Vreča, an employee at the Arnes public institute and lecturer for the project Safe.si, and Mr Aleš Bučar Ručman, a senior lecturer at the Faculty of Criminal justice and Security in Maribor and an expert for juvenile crime. We collected interesting answers, found out about practical experience, and thus gained an insight into digital violence conditions in Slovenia.
