Abstract:Diplomsko delo obravnava cestnoprometne nesreče mladih voznikov med 16. in 24. letom starosti med leti 2007 in 2012. Podana je definicija prometne nesreče, kateri so glavni vzroki nesreč ter ukrepi za njihovo zmanjšanje. Predstavljeni so dejavniki prometne varnosti ter kateri izmed njih najbolj vpliva na varnost v prometu. V prometu mladi predstavljajo eno izmed rizičnih skupin, zato so v diplomskem delu podrobno obravnavani. Na podlagi statističnih podatkov smo analizirali cestnoprometne nesreče mladih voznikov na območju Republike Slovenije in zbrane podatke primerjali s podatki iz ostalih evropskih držav. Ti podatki so nato prikazani v tabelah in grafikonih. Ob koncu diplomskega dela so podani tudi predlogi za izboljšave.

Title:ANALYSIS OF ROAD TRAFFIC ACCIDENTS FROM 16 TO 24 YEARS OLD YOUNG DRIVERS IN THE REPUBLIC OF SLOVENIA
Abstract:Diploma paper deals with road traffic accidents of young drivers aged between 16 and 24. The definition of traffic accidents is given, the main causes of accidents are discussed, followed by measures to reduce them. Factors of traffic safety are presented and which of them has the biggest influence on traffic safety. In road traffic, young people represent one of the risk groups, and are therefore dealt with in detail in the diploma paper. Based on statistics, we analyzed road traffic accidents of young drivers in the Republic of Slovenia and compared them to statistics from other European countries. The data is shown in tables and charts in a separate chapter. At the end of the diploma paper suggestions for improvement are given.
