Abstract:
V diplomskem delu smo preizkusili, ali je mogoče z odpadno vodo računalniških sistemov ogrevati poslovni objekt. Objekt smo projektirali na podlagi doseganja minimalnih izgub, da bi imeli čim boljše pogoje ogrevanja. Opravili smo izračune izgub, potrebne moči; moči, ki je pri takih sistemih na voljo, in primerjali rezultate s sistemom klasičnega ogrevanja. Rezultati so pokazali, da je ob primernih pogojih in dovolj zmogljivih računalniških sistemih takšen način ogrevanja izvedljiv.

Title:
ROOM HEATING WITH WASTE HEAT FROM COMPUTER SYSTEMS
Abstract:
In thesis we have tested, if it is possibile to heat rooms with waste heat from computer systems. The object itself was projected, to be as energy efficient as possible, to have the least possible energy losses. We have made calculations of thermal losses, power needed, power that is available with system of this kind and compared the results with conventional heating system. The results have shown, that, at the right terms in case of the object itself and medium to high performance computers, such heating system is feasible.
