Abstract:
V diplomskem delu z naslovom Reorganizacija sprejema paketov v poštnem logističnem centru smo obravnavali problematiko v zvezi s procesom sprejema paketov v poštnem logističnem centru. Natančneje smo preučili številne pomanjkljivosti in fragmentiranost pri sprejemu ter obdelavi paketnih pošiljk. V teoretičnem delu diplomskega dela smo definirali in ovrednotili pojme ter teoretične koncepte s področja logistike v poštnem prometu in samo delovanje poštnih logističnih centrov, s čimer smo si pomagali pri nadaljnji raziskavi in pri opravljeni študiji primera – proces sprejemanja paketov v logističnem centru. Po študiji primera in upoštevanju različnih raziskav na danem področju smo rezultate primerjali z že znano situacijo in nato podali možne predloge ter rešitve, ki bi pripomogle k izboljšanju trenutne problematike. Končni rezultati naše raziskave so nas torej popeljali do zaključka, da je na področju sprejema paketov veliko pomanjkljivosti v samem načinu dela, a vendar je tudi dovolj manevrskega prostora za izboljšave.

Title:
Reorganization of acceptance parcels in postal logistics centre
Abstract:
In the thesis entitled Reorganization of acceptance parcels in postal logistics centre, we discussed issues related to the process of parcel acceptance in the postal logistics center. Specifically, we studied a number of weaknesses and fragmentation in the process of acceptance and parcel processing. In the theoretical part of the thesis we defined and evaluated theoretical concepts in the field of logistics in postal services and the operation of postal logistics centers, which we used in further research and carried out a case study - the process of parcel acceptance in a postal logistic center. According to the case study and the process of adopting different researches in the given field, the results are compared with the already known situation and then we presented a possible solution which would help to improve the current problems. The final results of our research therefore brought us to the conclusion that in the field of parcel acceptance there are many deficiencies, but there is also plenty of room for improvements.
