Title:ANALIZA PREHRANJEVALNIH NAVAD IN OZAVEŠČENOST OSNOVNOŠOLCEV O ZDRAVEM NAČINU PREHRANJEVANJA

Abstract:Eden najpreprostejših in hkrati najučinkovitejših načinov, s katerimi je mogoče vplivati na zdravje, je naš način prehranjevanja oziroma kvaliteta hrane, ki jo uživamo. Cilj raziskave je bil ugotoviti, ali so mladostniki dovolj seznanjeni in koliko vedo o pomenu pravilnega prehranjevanja, hkrati pa tudi ugotoviti razliko seznanjenosti o pravilnem prehranjevanju med 5. in 8. razredi osnovnih šol. V raziskovalnem vzorcu je bilo zajetih skupaj 398 učencev različnega spola iz 10 osnovnih šol v Mariboru, od tega je bilo 206 učencev iz 5. razredov in 192 učencev iz 8. razredov. Večina anketiranih osnovnošolcev meni, da prehrana vpliva na zdravje. Izsledki raziskave so pokazali, da večji odstotek petošolcev kot osmošolcev redno zajtrkuje, prav tako so učenci 5. razredov bolj zadovoljni s kosilom in količinsko dobljeno hrano kot učenci 8. razredov. Izsledki raziskave kažejo, da je ozaveščenost o pomembnosti pregledovanja označb na živilih večja pri petošolcih kot pri osmošolcih. Osnovnošolci menijo, da so aditivi, holesterol in barvila nevarni dodatki v prehrani, medtem ko so zanje sol, rastlinska in živalska maščoba nenevarni.

Title:ANALYSIS OF DIETARY HABITS AND AWARENESS OF PUPILS ABOUT HEALTHY EATING
Abstract:One of the easiest and effective ways for improvement of our health status are the eating habits and the quality of the food we eat. The goal of the research was to determine whether the adolescents are informed enough about healthy eating habits. There were 398 pupils included into our research. They were all from Maribor's primary school and of both sexes, out of which 206 and 192 pupils were from 5 – th and 8 – th class class, respectively. Most of them believed that eating habits do affect health. On the basis of our research results we concluded that higher percent of 5 – th than 8-th class class pupils have breakfast on daily basis. The research showed that pupils of 5 – th class class check food package labels more often than those of 8 – th class class. In general, most pupils had an opinion that additives, cholesterol and colouring agents are unsafe dietary supplements and that salt, plant and animal fat are safe.
