Abstract:
V magistrskem delu predstavimo lastno aplikacijo za navigacijo na terenu, zlasti v gorskem svetu, zasnovano na mobilni platformi Android. Najprej opišemo navigacijske pripomočke za planinske pohodnike. Sledi opis mobilne platforme Android in v njej razpoložljivih zmožnosti navigacije na terenu. Nato opišemo funkcionalnosti, razvoj in delovanje izdelane aplikacije. Predstavimo tudi nekaj primerov uporabe. V sklepnem delu povzamemo ugotovitve in podamo ideje in izzive za nadaljnji razvoj predstavljene aplikacije.

NAVIGATION FOR MOUNTAINEERS ON ANDROID MOBILE PLATFORM
Abstract:
In this master thesis, we present our implemented application for outdoor navigation, based on Android mobile platform and primarily aimed at mountaineers. Firstly, we introduce navigation accessories for mountaineers. Then we describe terrain navigation capabilities on Android mobile platform. We also describe functionalities, development and operation of the implemented application, and give some examples of usage. In conclusion we resume findings and introduce ideas for further development of the presented application.
