Abstract:
Razvoj informacijske tehnologije je vzrok, da se je ta razmaknila iz zasebnega tudi v poslovno okolje. Podjetja tako ugotavljajo, da lahko s pomočjo informacijske tehnologije bistveno doprinesejo k poslovanju. Na trgu se v ta namen pojavljajo različne aplikacije, ki lahko izboljšajo katerega izmed procesov v podjetju, kot tudi celi paketi aplikacij, namenjeni celotnemu poslovanju, ki nosijo ime rešitve ERP. Če povzamemo oba dela diplomskega seminarja, smo v teoretičnem delu spoznali rešitve in trende rešitev ERP, v praktičnem pa predstavili trende treh različnih podjetij in jih primerjali med seboj. Odločili smo se za tri glavne ponudnike, ti so SAP, Oracle in Microsoft. V ključnem delu diplomskega seminarja smo trende razdelili v štiri skupine in nato ugotovili, da so razlike med trendi izbranih ponudnikov zelo majhne. Kljub vsemu pa to ni odločilen kriterij, na podlagi katerega bi se stranka odločila za določenega ponudnika.

DEVELOPMENT TRENDS OF ENTERPRISE RESOURCE PLANNING SOLUTIONS
Abstract:
Development of information technology is reason why today we use it in business and not just in personal environment. Companies are aware that with help of information technology they can do much better. That is why there is a lot of applications for business processes. We can have just one application for one process, or we can have all our processes covered with help of Enterprise Resource Planning system. If we sum up both parts of this diploma seminar, in theoretical part we learned about ERP solutions and their trends. Then in practical part we described which trends three the biggest companies have to offer. Companies that we have chosen are SAP, Oracle and Microsoft. In the main part of thesis we did divide trends into four groups and found out that differences between trends of each company are very small. However there are more important aspects on which companies should be focused when choosing ERP solutions.
