Abstract:
Zaradi velikega števila prebivalstva in njegovega naraščanja ter posledično zaradi velike potrebe po električni energiji in naraščanja njene porabe je potrebno proizvodnjo električne energije iz konvencionalnih virov čim prej nadomestiti s proizvodnjo električne energije iz obnovljivih virov. Konvencionalni viri energije namreč preveč obremenjujejo naše okolje, tako pri pridobivanju kot pri izkoriščanju, prav tako pa se v naravi nahajajo v omejenih količinah in bodo nekega dne iztrošeni. Za zamenjavo konvencionalnih virov energije je na voljo veliko obnovljivih virov energije, med njimi pa je najpomembnejši energija sonca, saj je na voljo v neomejenih količinah, dostopna je vsem, za vse je brezplačna in dopušča veliko različnih načinov izrabe. Med vsemi obnovljivimi viri energije predstavlja najbolj trajno rešitev za oskrbo z električno energijo in pomembno pomoč pri ohranitvi našega okolja za zanamce.

Title:
USE OF SOLAR ENERGY AS SUSTAINABLE SOLUTION FOR SUPPLY OF ELECTRIC ENERGY
Abstract:
Due to a large number of human populations and its constant growth, the need for electricity in the world in very big and it is increasing. Therefore the production of electric power with the use of conventional sources of energy should be replaced with production of electric power with the use of renewable energy sources. The conventional energy sources are causing too much damage to our environment – when being obtained and when being used. The quantity of conventional sources in nature is also limited and they will one day run out. There are many options to replace conventional energy sources with renewable ones, but the most important one is solar energy. The quantity of solar energy in unlimited, it is available to everyone; it is free of charge and has many options of using. Among all the renewable sources it represents the most sustainable solution for electricity supply and plays an important role in preservation of our environment for future generations.
