Abstract:
Diplomsko delo obravnava zdravstveno nego pacienta s tumorjem hipofize. Delo je teoretično in je vsebinsko razdeljeno na medicinski in negovalni del. Medicinski del sestavljajo poglavja v katerih so predstavljeni anatomija in fiziologija hipotalamusa, anatomija hipofize in njeno hormonsko delovanje, fiziologija hipotalamusa v povezavi s hipofizo. V naslednjem poglavju so opisani hipofizni tumorji glede na delitev in bolezenska stanja, ki jih povzročajo. Sledi diagnostika hipofiznih tumorjev, ki je sestavljena iz slikovnih preiskav, funkcionalnih preiskav vida in hormonskih preiskav. Predstavljeno je zdravljenje hipofiznih tumorjev, ki se deli na operativno zdravljenje, medikamentozno zdravljenje in zdravljenje z obsevanjem. V negovalnem delu diplomskega dela je opisana zdravstvena nega pacienta s tumorjem hipofize, ki je sestavljena iz zdravstvene nege nevrokirurškega pacienta, predoperativne in pooperativne zdravstvene nege. Predstavljene so posebnosti zdravstvene nege po operativni odstranitvi hipofiznega tumorja, zdravstveno vzgojno delo medicinske sestre in najpogostejše negovalne diagnoze v pooperativni zdravstveni negi.

Title:
Nursing Care of a Patient with Hypophyseal Tumor
Abstract:
This diploma thesis discusses medical care of patients with pituitary tumours. The thesis is theoretical and is divided into a medical and a nursing part. In the medical part there are chapters about anatomy and physiology of hypothalamus, pituitary gland anatomy and its hormonal function and hypothalamus physiology in relation to the pituitary gland. In the next chapter there is a description of pituitary tumours based on the division and the medical conditions they cause. The diagnostics of pituitary tumours made of imaging tests, functional sight tests and hormonal tests follows. Treatment of pituitary tumours divided into operative treatment, treatment with medicines and radiation treatment is presented. In the nursing part of the diploma, the medical care of a patient with pituitary tumour is described. This care consists of medical care of the neurosurgical patient, pre-operational and post operational medical care. The specifics of medical treatment of patients with surgical removal of pituitary tumours, medical-educational work of nurses and the most common nursing diagnoses in post operative medical care are presented.
