History of steel structures
Abstract:
The diploma work describes the development of steel structures over time. The first part describes the history of iron and steel as a material. The construction methods of bridges and buildings through centuries are given in continuation. The greatest achievements in the construction of steel structures, constructed recently, are also presented. At last, the third section describes the development of bridges and buildings build by steel in Slovenia.
