žrtev psihično in fizično.

Title:THE PRESENCE OF MOBBING IN THE OPERATING UNIT
Abstract:Mobbing is a complex and dynamic phenomenon that significantly affects an individual or victims: psychological and physical. It is a criminal offense, which is defined in a number of laws and regulations. Mobbing is a violation of human rights. Operating environment is a specific environment, with historically defined hierarchy of management and organization of work. Studied Methodology: The study was based on a quantitative methodology as a research tool; we used a questionnaire that contained 19 questions, closed and one open type of question. The research sample consisted of operating activities performers in the operating room at the University Medical Centre Maribor. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the prevalence of mobbing in the operating environment, its forms, the most common victims, the reasons for the occurrence and consequences. Survey results: We found that the causes of mobbing are in the lack of communication, vague organization of work and the current socio-economic situation of society as a whole. Discussion and conclusion: The survey shows that employees are aware of mobbing and that they recognize bullying as well as the procedures for treatment or prevention of occurrence of mobbing. They know that good communication between the potential perpetrator and the victim of mobbing can prevent that these acts do not occur. In order for this phenomenon to be reduced if not prevented, they must improve the way employees communicate with each other with training and also with an introduction of anti-stress programs. With the introduction of new staff and with strain relief of dealing with parts for which they are not competent, bullying would be effectively reduced. At the same time employees would assume their share of responsibility in the patient’s treatment process, effectively improve communication, boost self-confidence and respect for the individual, as well as the quality of the patients care and the organization of healthcare work.
