Abstract:V diplomskem delu so predstavljene aktivnosti s področja geometrije, pri katerih so uporabljene ploščice za vzorčke. Ploščice za vzorčke so v tujini pogosto uporabljen didaktični pripomoček, v Sloveniji pa je ta didaktični pripomoček slabo poznan. Namen diplomske naloge je zato predstaviti ploščice za vzorčke ter njihovo uporabnost. V diplomskem delu so navedene in opisane aktivnosti s ploščicami za vzorčke, ki jih lahko učitelji razrednega pouka uporabijo pri poučevanju matematike v prvem triletju osnovne šole. Aktivnosti s ploščicami za vzorčke so v diplomski nalogi predstavljene v posameznih poglavjih. Vsako poglavje je sestavljeno iz uvoda, ki na kratko opiše, za kakšno aktivnost gre in kaj bodo učenci počeli pri tej aktivnosti, nato so navedeni pripomočki, ki jih za posamezno aktivnost potrebujemo, za tem pa sledi podroben opis aktivnosti. Ob koncu vsakega poglavja so navedena še navodila za učitelje, ki podajajo dodatne napotke za uspešno izvedbo aktivnostih s ploščicami za vzorčke. Priloge diplomske naloge vsebujejo izdelane ploščice za vzorčke, ki jih potrebujemo za izvedbo aktivnosti, delovne liste in pa barvne mreže likov, ki jih je mogoče izrezati za kasnejšo uporabo.

Title:PATTERN BLOCKS ACTIVITIES
Abstract:Present diploma thesis presents activities in the field of geometry, where pattern blocks are used. Pattern blocks are one of the most often used teaching manipulatives in several countries, while they are not well – known in Slovenia. The main aim of the diploma thesis is to present pattern blocks and their usage. The diploma thesis lists and describes different pattern blocks activities which can be used in teaching mathematics in the first triad of primary school. Pattern blocks activities are presented in individual chapters. Each chapter contains introduction, where each activity is described in terms of what students do at it, what teaching tools are used and then also detailed information on the activity. At the end of each chapter there are also instructions for teachers who give instructions to successfully perform each activity. Diploma thesis appendices contain pattern blocks, which are needed to perform activities, worksheets and colour matrix of different mathematics shapes, which can be cut out for later use.
