Abstract:
Kot odziv na globalne okoljske probleme in kot spoznanje, da se problemi še vedno poglabljajo, so se razvili učinkoviti sistemi ravnanja z okoljem. Globalni namen zakonodaje je zmanjšanje onesnaževanja okolja, preprečevanje nastanka odpadkov in vzpodbujanje reciklaže.Da pa bi vse to uresničili, je potrebno najprej spremeniti naše razmišljanje glede nastajanja odpadkov, šele nato se lahko lotimo politik zmanjševanja odpadkov, pravilnega odlaganja in ponovne uporabe odpadnih materialov ali reciklaže. Precej je že bilo storjenega na področju ločevanja, zbiranja in recikliranja, vendar bo potrebno še marsikaj izboljšati, če želimo ohraniti naše okolje bodočim rodovom. V nalogi smo predlagali uvedbo ločevanja odpadkov na izvoru, saj smo ugotovili, da bi bila to najboljša rešitev. Zakonska uredba je že določena, poostriti bi bilo potrebno še nadzor pri odlaganju, saj se premalo izvaja. Vendar pa uporabniki nismo primorani ločevati, ker imamo še vedno možnost odlaganja v dva zabojnika. Predstavili smo tudi obstoječi način zbiranja odpadkov z ekološkimi otoki v občini Sevnica ter trenutni problem, ki je nastal pri prevzemanju embalaž. Prikazali smo, da bi uvedba sortirne linije v občini Sevnica pomenila pridobitev na področju urejanja z odpadki, saj bi presortirali večjo količino odpadkov v krajšem času. Tako bi tudi enostavneje in kakovostnejše zagotavljali prevzeme prevzemnikom odpadnih embalaž.

Title:
THE ISSUE OF COLLECTING PACKAGING WASTE BY ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES PROVIDERS
Abstract:
As a response to global environmental concerns and a realization that the problems are still deepening, efficient systems of environmental management have been developed. The main goal of legislation is reducing pollution, prevent waste at the source and incourage recycling. In order to ensure this, our way of thinking about producing waste needs to be altered before we start implementing policies of reducing waste, appropriate disposal and reuse of waste and its recycling. A lot has been done in this area already, but there are still considerations to be tackled if we want to preserve our environment for future generations. This paper proposes implementing source separation of waste as the best possible solution. Regulations concerning this issue have been made, still some extra control should be established at waste disposal to make it more efficient. However, as long as there is the possibility of disposing waste into two containers instead of into waste separation containers, the consumers will not feel obliged to separate waste. The existing system of collecting waste in waste separation containers in the municipality of Sevnica and the current problem with collecting waste packaging have also been outlined in this paper. Implementing a recycling sorting line would mean a contribution to the area of waste management in Sevnica since a larger amount of waste would be sorted in a shorter time. Packaging waste would therefore be collected more easily and efficiently
