Abstract:V diplomskem delu je izpostavljena metoda igre in ustvarjalnega giba kot učni pristop, s katerim učencem posredujemo učne vsebine preko igre in gibanja. Obravnavana snov postane bolj razumljiva, zabavna, pestra in nazorna. Učenci lažje in bolje delajo, če so v pouk vključene gibalne dejavnosti, s katerimi učenec postane aktiven član razreda.

Title:LEARNING WITH THE USE OF METHODS OF GAME AND CREATIVE MOVEMENT AT THE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL FIRST TRIAD SUBJECT ENVIRONMENT AND SOCIETY
Abstract:This thesis introduces the method of game playing and creative movement as a constituting learning approach in which the subject content is presented to the pupils through games and movement. We have focused primarily on the use of this method in the Environmental Awareness class in the first trimester of primary school. The theoretical part introduces the method of game playing and creative movement as a comprehensive method, through which the pupils experience the subject matter with their minds as well as through movement. We have classified various forms of games and creative movement, researched the teacher’s role in the integration of games and creative movement into the teaching process, and identified in the impact of this approach on pupils. We present the Environmental Awareness class and its content the first trimester. We focus on the integration of games and creative movement into the natural sciences and social elements of the subject. The central part of the diploma paper deals with elective activities, which can be used in specific topics within the subject. The integration aims, which can be achieved through game playing and creative activities, emerge from the process objectives of each thematic section and from the motoric activities included in the subject. Integrating the method of game playing and creative movement into primary school classes produces as improvement in pupils' knowledge as well as in the social atmosphere in the class. The subject content becomes more understandable, fun, colourful and clearer to grasp. Students work better and with less difficulty when physical activities, with which the student becomes an active member of the class, are included in the teaching process.
