Title:Nasilje v družini in policija - analiza PU Krško : diplomsko delo visokošolskega strokovnega študija Varstvoslovje

Abstract:Nasilje v družini je pogosta tema v današnjem času, z njo se srečujemo v bližnji okolici. Med nami je prisotno že dolgo, vendar se zadnje čase čedalje več govori in piše o njem. Ker se nasilje največkrat izvaja nad šibkejšimi, ženskami, otroki in starostniki, sem se v diplomski nalogi na to skupino še bolj osredotočila. Poznamo več vrst nasilja, zato sem jih naštela in opisala, zanimale pa so me tudi posledice nasilja na žrtev. Najhujše posledice pusti nasilje nad otroki oz. če ga izvaja eden izmed staršev nad drugim staršem, saj se otrokov značaj še izoblikuje in obstaja večja možnost, da bo tudi otrok nasilen. Velikokrat je problem nasilje odkriti in ga preprečiti, saj vsaka žrtev nasilja kaže drugačne odzive in posledice. Problem je v prijavi nasilja, saj se zaradi različnih znakov le-to včasih pozno ugotovi, veliko ljudi pa tudi noče prijaviti nasilja, saj se jih zdi napačno vmešavati v ˝družinske probleme˝ ali pa ne vedo, kam bi bilo najbolje poklicati in prijaviti nasilje, da bi pomagali žrtvi. Žrtvam nasilja pomaga policija, centri za socialno delo in mnoge nevladne organizacije. V primerih, ko je nasilje prehudo in mora žrtev pobegniti s svojega doma, se jo namesti v varno hišo. Pri nas imamo Pepcin dom v okolici Krškega, ki je prva varna hiša pri nas. Predvsem smo se osredotočali na nasilje v družini na območju PU Krško. Z zakonom o preprečevanju nasilja v družini leta 2008 smo naredili velik korak naprej, saj zakon točno opredeljuje nasilje v družini. Imamo pa še druge zakone kot so Kazenski zakonik, Zakon o varstvu javnega reda in miru, Zakon o policiji in Zakon o preprečevanju nasilja v družini, ki nam pomagajo pri preprečevanju nasilja v družini.

Abstract:Domestic violence is a common issue in our everyday life, most of us are faced with it in our neighbourhood. It has been present among us probably from the beginning of mankind, but only in the last decades openly talked about. Because violence is often aimed at the weak, women, children and elderly, they are the main focus of my thesis. There are several types of violence, which I have enumerated and described, but I was also interested in the effects of violence on the victim. The worst consequences of violence are seen when it is used against children or implemented by one of the parents on the other parent, because a child's personality is in the process of formation and there is a greater chance that the child will become violent as well. It is often a problem to identify and to prevent violence, because every victim of violence can show different consequences and responses to it. The problem of violence is also that it is not being reported, because many people are also unwilling to report violence for it seems wrong to interfere in ''family matters'', or do not know where it would be best to call and report violence, to help the victim to get away from it. Victims of violence are being helped by the police, social workers and many non-government institutions. In cases when the violence is too great and the victim has to escape from home, this person is moved to a ''safe house''. In Krško we have Pepca's home, which was the first safe house in this neighbourhood. The thesis mainly focused on domestic violence in the area of Police Department of Krško. A big step ahead has been made by the implementation of Family Violence Prevention 2008 with which we made a major step towards accurate definition of domestic violence. But there are also other laws such as Penal Code of the Republic of Slovenia, Protection of Public Order Act, Police Act and Family Violence Prevention Act.
