Abstract:Mnogim med nami še ni prišlo v zavest, kako zelo pomemben je pravilen odnos do našega planeta. Čutiti je potrebno odgovornost pri ravnanju z odpadki, jih pravilno ločevati, varčevati s pitno vodo, omejevati izpuste toplogrednih plinov v ozračje ter varčevati z energijo. Pomemben segment varčevanja z energijo in njena učinkovita raba se pričneta z zavedanjem, da energija ni dana sama po sebi in da je nimamo na razpolago v neomejenih količinah. Diplomsko delo govori o učinkoviti uporabi energije pri vleki vlakov. S pravilno manipulacijo lahko strojevodja, upravljavec z lokomotivo, ustvari velik doprinos pri varčevanju z energijo. Opravljene so bile meritve porabljene električne energije pri istem vlaku, ki je na isti progi vozil z isto serijo elektromotorne garniture. Za primerjavo sem opravil še izračun porabe na isti železniški progi z različnimi serijami vlečnih vozil. Meritve preko števca porabljene električne energije so potrdile tezo o energetsko najbolj učinkovitem načinu vožnje vlaka, to je na način največjega izkoristka kinetične energije.

Title:EFFICIENT ENERGY USE AT RAILWAYS
Abstract:Many of us haven't realized yet how important is the correct attitude towards our planet. Responsibility has to be felt while handling garbage, sorting it correctly, saving the drinkable water, limiting the exhausts of greenhouse gases into the atmosphere and saving energy. An important segment of saving energy and its efficient use begins with awareness that energy is not to be taken for granted and that it is not limitless. This thesis is about efficient energy use with traction trains. With the right manipulation a train driver as the manager of the locomotive can make a great contribution to saving energy. Measurements of electric energy consumption were made with a train, driving on the same tracks with the same series of electric motor equipment. For comparison I've done a calculation of consumption on the same railway with different series of the tracking vehicle. Measurements from the electricity consumption meter have confirmed the argument of the most efficient way of driving the train, which is to use the kinetic energy with the most efficiency.
